Novel Form of NTI in COVID-19 Patients
I have added a Snippet about non-thyroidal illness (NTI) in COVID-19 patients. This includes a call for a study of TSH isoforms in athyroetic COVID-19 patients. I feel this is an incredible opportunity to understand how TSH regulates peripheral deiodinase and would ask all patients to lobby in favour of this proposed study.
Collagenous Colitis
A new topic Collagenous Colitis has been added. The standard treatment is budesonide. Many patients are unable to come off budesonide which is an expensive drug. I found that I was able to cease all medicine after using combined budesonide / colesevelam therapy for a short time.
