The medical profession has a tendency to put the blame on the patient when they don&#8217;t understand a disorder.  It&#8217;s important to remember that if a patient&#8217;s signs and symptoms don&#8217;t match the doctor&#8217;s hypothesis then the fault lies with the hypothesis not with the patient.
